This Wednesday we will be meeting at the ward at 6:30 pm. We are going to go on a hike up Bell Canyon. Bring plenty of water, a camelbak, if you have one would be good. See you there.
Please meet at the ward tonight at 7:00. We will be finishing up the two merit badges we have been working on. Citizenship in the Community and Family Life. Bring both packets tonight! We really want everyone to get these merit badges passed off.
We also have scout camp coming up soon which we will talk about.
This week is a busy one for the scouts. We have a couple different activities planned as follows:
Meet at the ward at 6:30 this Wednesday at which time we will carpool over to the Stake Center for a combined fun activity. Dinner will be served. See you then!
Meet @ 7:00 - We will be reviewing the progress of the Scouts tracking their chores. Please bring your Family Life MB packets to review. We will also introduce you to the next MB – Citizenship in Community (Required). We will finish up reviewing your parts for the Sharing Time lesson on May 8th.
Parents, please encourage your Scout to continue to work on the things they need to finish up the Merit Badges we have worked on over the past few months (Environmental Science, Cit in Nation, Space Exploration, Personal Fitness). Some of them only have a requirement or two left, or just simply need to call the counselor to pass it off.
Reminder for Summer Scout Camp coming up June 20-25. More information will be coming in the next few weeks. At this rate, the boys may be working on the ice skating Merit Badge in stead of Canoeing or Rowing…we need some warm weather!
